The To Do List
February is all about formulating and implementing a plan to achieve all your goals set and reviewed in January. In battle the goal is to win, but we have to have a battle plan to know exactly how we are going to go about winning. The griffin and bear in the Vanguard Gym crest are rampant facing out ward to show a readiness for challenges and armed to show they are prepared for battle. They should serve as a reminder for you to embody these team values.
It’s not enough to have the goal to win, or to be “armed” with the “weapons” of your trade. You need to prepare and train for the challenges in your life. Making a checklist and dedicating the time on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis to achieving your goals is required if you are going to get anywhere close to where you want to be in the future, near or far.
Commit to yourself and find a way to hold yourself accountable with friends, family, or teammates involved if that’s what it takes. Dedicate yourself to living a meaningful life, always improving as a person mentally, physically, socially, spiritually, and emotionally.
