Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, No-Gi, and MMA members:

Starting September 14 the following changes in the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu schedule will take place:

A. Tuesday and Thursday at 7pm will be both Basic (blue mat with Coach Christian) and Advanced (red mat with Coach Doug) for an hour of technique and then a half-hour of rolling/drilling until 8:30pm. There will be open mat from 8:30-9:00pm.
This does four things: 1. allow all of us to train together 2. keep the format the same for Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday Classes and 3. keeps your training days the same when you get promoted to blue belt 4. allows for the following change:

B. Dedicated No-Gi/MMA class on Mondays and Wednesdays at 7pm. This will include clinch work, takedowns, no-gi grappling, and strikes on the ground. You do not need to be or want to be a fighter to take this class. It will mostly focus on no-gi applications and work in some strikes on the ground from an MMA or self-defense perspective. This class will be lead mostly by Coach Doug with Coach Christian assisting.

C. Friday noon BJJ class is cancelled.

A lot of you have been lax training over the summer. I know you all have goals so lets get in here and put in the work!
I will be looking for each and every one of you on the mats!

If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to ask.
-Coach Doug
